Sujud — Prostration
Sujudالسُّجُود
Prostrating with seven parts of the body on the ground (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 812; Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 490) — the position of complete submission. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The closest a servant is to his Lord is when in prostration.' He also said 'Subhana Rabbiyal A'la' in prostration (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī 262).
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Subhana Rabbiyal A'la.
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.
Hadith
The nearest a servant can be to his Lord is while he is prostrating, so increase in supplication.
